Charter Bus Safety
Gps Tracking- By 2011 we plan to have all motorcoaches equipped with Mixtelematics Gps tracking and monitoring System. The system allows us to find the exact location of the bus as well as score the drivers on there driving by monitoring Speed, Braking, Etc. so we can assure the client the best drivers the industry has to offer.
Safety- at American Explorer Motorcoach your safety is our first priority. Every vehicle goes through pre trip inspections of all tires, review of oil and air lines as well as checking of all fluids. Additionally American Explorer owns our maintenance facilities with a full time staff of mechanics that regularly inspect and maintain the vehicles so we can replace critical parts long before necessary.
Insurance- American Explorer Motorcoach carries full insurance coverage. We are state and federally licensed and all of our coaches meet or exceed state and federal safety requirements. We are also affiliates of the Better Business Bureau and United Motorcoach Association.
Drivers- We are very proud of are equipment and staff. Following are some of the ongoing practices by American Explorer Motorcoach to ensure the highest levels of safety
- Driver training- American explorer trains all drivers before putting them behind the wheel of any of the vehicles in our fleet. Each driver is road tested and receives class room instruction. Additionally each driver must show they are proficient in performing inspections and safety sensitive functions.
- Drug Testing- American Explorer follows all DOT protocol for Drug and Alcohol testing
- Fingerprinting- All drivers for American Explorer must pass a level one clearance fingerprint background check.
